An Unusual Request...

The morning of Monday 10th May brought a unique challenge to the staff of L J Sheppard Volkswagen, Bishops Stortford, when they were met with a rather unusual request.

On being greeted in L J Sheppard's showroom, Mark and Kellie Peachey asked not to borrow a car but to borrow two members of staff to witness their 11.00am wedding at the neighbouring registry office!

Mark and Kellie, of Harlow, had kept their impending nuptials a secret from their family and friends and having arrived at the registry office with no witnesses, were relying on the staff at L J Sheppard to support their special day.

More than meeting this challenge were L J Sheppard's Sales Manager, Mr. Neil Curtis and Service Manager, Richard Stovell, who not only witnessed the wedding service in its entirety but also ensured Mark and Kellie's day was memorable by providing them not only with the use of a camera but also the use of a Volkswagen Eos, complete with wedding ribbons!

Mark and Kellie commented, "Thank you to Neil and Richard from L J Sheppard Volkswagen for making our day that little bit different but special at the same time. We are both so grateful for what Neil and Richard did for us".

Neil Curtis of L J Sheppard responded by saying, "Mark and Kellie's request came as a complete surprise. It's not the usual type of enquiry we receive in the showroom! It was an absolute privilege to witness Mark and Kellie's wedding. Kellie looked beautiful and it was a pleasure to be able to support their special day".
