Audi wins three at the BusinessCar 2011 fleet awards
Audi has won three top prizes at the annual BusinessCar magazine fleet awards. As Audi UK's head of fleet sales Iain Carmichael says, "The BusinessCar awards are really important to us because it's the people who buy and run our fleet cars who vote for them. They are a genuine affirmation of the calibre of our model range and its competitiveness at all levels in the fleet sector."
Audi Q5 retains Small 4x4 of the Year title
BusinessCar's editor Paul Barker said that the Q5 was not only "extremely appealing" but also "cost effective", and that its continuing success "shows its quality". Commenting on the fact that this is the second year in a row that the Q5 has topped its class, he said "business car fleets are obviously as impressed as we are".

Audi A3 wins Lower Medium Car of the Year
The A3 brings together Audi's prestigious name with fuel economy, affordable running costs and low CO2 emissions, and this has clearly been recognised by BusinessCar's readership. Editor Paul Barker called it "a great business car proposition". This is the third time the A3 has won this award in five years.

Audi R8 retains Sporting Car of the Year title
The R8 might not leap to mind as a fleet vehicle, but 147 - three a week - were bought for fleets last year, making it the continued sporting car of choice in the top-end market. Paul Barker commented on readers being impressed by "a winning combination" of "looks, performance and badge appeal".
