Huntingdon Audi congratulates its newest Master Technician
Huntingdon Audi is delighted to congratulate Kelvin Vanbergen on achieving Master Technician status – the highest qualification level for an Audi trained technician and one which ensures that Audi are market leaders in understanding the importance of comprehensive vehicle maintenance and customer service excellence.
Service Manager, Gil Collins, said, “In these tough economic times customer satisfaction is more important than ever and paramount to the client experience. At Huntingdon Audi we believe in developing our employees to the highest possible levels – not because we have to but because we want to. Kelvin joins an existing team of three Master Technicians, a number which is relatively rare within the Audi network.”
Kelvin joined the Huntingdon Audi team in 1999 as one of the first delegates on Audi’s three-year apprenticeship programme and was quickly recognised as a high achiever. After the successful completion of the apprenticeship programme, Kelvin qualified as a Service Technician and from there progressed promptly to an Audi Qualified Technician. He demonstrated a natural ability to understand and identify the causes of any issues, using Audi’s advanced diagnostic equipment to support his assessments. Kelvin’s determination and enthusiasm was recognised by both Gil Collins and the Head of Business, Paul Phelan, who selected Kelvin to undertake the in-depth and complex Master Technician qualification programme.
Commenting upon his achievement, Kelvin said, “Being an integral part of the Huntingdon Audi team for 12 years has allowed me to understand and embrace the innovative technology and processes that Audi is built upon. Huntingdon Audi has encouraged me to progress, whilst nurturing the natural passion I have for cars. Audi’s notoriously strict and challenging Master Technician programme makes my achievement all the more satisfying. I am proud to boast one of the most prestigious qualifications in the motor industry.”
“Kelvin has always shown determination and his passion was clear from a young age. Here at Huntingdon Audi we encourage our staff to be the best and provide all the facilities, materials and guidance to help them succeed. We know that the success of a business is based on the team within it, and it always gives me great pleasure to congratulate a member of staff on such a well-deserved achievement.” Head of Business Paul Phelan commented.
