Skoda reveals first pictures of the five-door Citigo
The first ŠKODA model to sport the brand new logo, the first picture of the five-door Citigo has been revealed, leading up to its international debut at this year’s Geneva Motorshow on the 8th - 18th March 2012.
Following the successful launch of the three-door Citigo in the Czech Republic late last year, the five-door Citigo is due to closely follow the launch of the three-door , on sale later this year. Journalists will be given the chance to test drive the safety efficient Citigo, which has just been awarded a five-star rating in Euro NCAP crash tests, before it is unveiled to the public in Geneva in March.
The Citigo represents ŠKODA’s entry into the fast-growing subcompact segment of the motor industry, and with the impressive new look Skoda ranks among the most compact and roomiest cars in its class. Taking ‘Simply Clever’ to a new extreme, the Citigo impresses with ingenious features such as a photo and document holder, a bag hook on the glove compartment and a range of net holders.
The year ahead looks set to reveal a new era for the Skoda brand, the reaction to both the three-door and five-door Citigo so far reflects the craftsmanship and matchless technology that goes into every new member of the Skoda family.
