The Vindis Challenge Evening, April 2010

On Thursday 15th April, Sales teams from Vindis Audi, Volkswagen and Skoda went head-to-head in the 'Vindis Challenge Evening'. This event marked the end of a positive first quarter for the Vindis Group and offered Centres the opportunity of winning the grand prize of a staff event of their choice.

Eleven Vindis Centres entered teams, with approximately 100 participants in total. Over the course of four challenges, including deciphering a message emitted in morse code from individual miniature lighthouses on each table, Centres fought for a place in the grand final - a general knowledge quick-fire buzzer round.

Occupation of first position changed a number of times throughout the course of the evening, with some Centres having considerably better success than others (mentioning no names!). By the end of the fourth round, the four Grand Finalists had been decided - Sawston Volkswagen, Cambridge Volkswagen, Northampton Audi and Bedford Audi. Three team members were selected from each Centre, to go head-to-head in the buzzer round. This hilarious final round, which drew concerns over whether one Centre's buzzer was actually working(!), was a clear triumph for Bedford Audi but a fantastic effort by all involved.
