The TT Coupe: with great road handling, cornering and grip thanks to Audi's Quattro 4WD system, the TT Coupe is also reliable, quiet, and very fast. On paper it seats four, but headroom and leg space will be cramped for adults in the back. Better to think of it as a two seater with reasonable boot space that can be increased by folding down the back seats. The petrol models are fairly economical at 35mpg, whilst the diesels offer 40-50 mpg. An exciting car to drive that is deservedly popular, not least because of its high residual value.

The TT Roadster: Top Gear called this soft-top "probably the most reasonable, reliable and value-for-money Roadster in the world". The 2.0 litre version will do 35mpg yet offers top speeds of 147mph. Audi's acknowledged engineering ability means top quality throughout. Very much a two-seater sports car (which still has reasonable boot space), this is all about responsive steering and superb performance; 270Bhp from a 2.0 litre engine.
