The Transporter has a choice of two punchy diesel engines (1.9 and 2.5 litre), both of which offer good handling and a solid ride with minimum vibration and hardly any squeaks or rattles. Depending on the variant there is up to 1300kg payload and over 9 cubic metres storage space. Standard features include ABS, tree point seatbelts, driver airbag, remote central locking, deadlocks and a transponder immobiliser.
