Ducati Diavel
Rugged, sporty, yet very sophisticated, the new Ducati Diavel V4 is all these things and more – a sight for sore eyes that delivers plenty of power. The V4 has lost some of its weight thanks to a monocoque frame and single-sided swingarm, which are both made from aluminium. And a potent Granturismo 1,158cc engine boasts the lightness of the V4 Granturismo, resulting in a kerb weight without fuel of 223kg – a saving of more than 13kg compared to the Diavel 1260 S. This liquid-cooled V4 unit puts out 166bhp and a peak torque of 126Nm, enabling dynamic and limber performance levels, and it’s ready to cruise whenever you are.
The well-equipped Diavel V4 rides on newly designed five-spoke wheels and features front-mounted LED daytime running lights that form an eye-catching twin-C motif, and LED taillights are similarly clustered. The bike is provided with a vivid Ducati Red paint finish at no extra cost, while Thrilling Black is available as an option if you so wish. We have to say that they both look incredible – there’s a reason that the V4 won MCN’s Cruiser of the Year Award this year!
The new Ducati Diavel V4 RS takes the exhilaration a step further. One of the most exclusive, high-performance and technologically advanced Diavel models ever made, it features a racing-inspired design, numbered editions and a counter-rotating crankshaft derived from MotoGP technology. It’s powered by a 1,103cc Desmodromic V4 engine that delivers an exhilarating 182hp at 11,750rpm, with a rev limiter extending that to a thrilling 14,000rpm.
