The Vindis difference

Here are seven additional measures we take to exceed the baseline Audi requirements for our Approved Used vehicles.

  • Multipoint inspections: While multipoint inspections are mandated by Audi and any identified issues are rectified before sale, at Vindis, these inspections are carried out only by Audi-trained and Audi-qualified technicians. No external inspectors or contractors are ever used.
  • MOT test standards: Audi require Approved Used vehicles for sale to have a current MOT test – at Vindis, any Audi over 3 years old or with less than 12 months until the next MOT test receives a fresh test. This gives you a full year from the date of the inspection.
  • Brake standards: Brakes are measured by percentage of wear; anything over 80% worn is automatically replaced.
  • Vehicle presentation: Every vehicle receives brand-new Vindis Audi number plates and a first-aid kit as standard. All used petrol/diesel cars include a 1-litre engine oil top-up bottle for added convenience.
  • Serviceable item replacements: Vindis proactively replace any serviceable item due within 9 months or 9,000 miles, determined using Audi’s official system. This includes oil services, spark plugs, timing belt, fuel filter, wipers, brake fluid and much more.
  • Tyre standards: Audi mandate that tyres must have at least 3mm of tread. All tyres fitted by Vindis are Audi-approved and, if we replace tyres, all four will match in brand and tread pattern. For quattro models, tyre tread depth variation will not exceed 2mm across axles. Tyres nearing DOT expiry (within 9 months) are replaced.
  • Free gift: As a final flourish, every customer receives an Audi merchandise gift at handover.

  • Warranty: 12- or 24-month warranty based on customer purchase.
  • Servicing: An up-to-date service is carried out if it’s due within 3 months or 4,000 miles.
  • History checks: Provenance, vehicle mileage and service history checks.
  • Exchange policy: The right to exchange with a minimum term of 30 days from the date of handover.
