The Superleggera V4 Centenario – engineering the extraordinary

In its centenary year, Ducati has set a new benchmark in engineering excellence. Introducing the Superleggera V4 Centenario, its most advanced creation to date. A masterpiece born from the relentless pursuit of lightness, power and innovation, this extraordinary machine brings MotoGP-derived technology to the road like never before, delivering an experience that pushes you closer to the edge of pure racing performance. It’s so much more than just ‘super light’.

Pure power, engineered to thrill

At the very heart of the Superleggera V4 Centenario lies an unyielding passion for performance. Equipped with a full titanium racing system by Akrapovič, this machine unleashes an astonishing 247hp, while shedding 3kg (6.6lb) for an even sharper power-to-weight ratio.

The Desmosedici Stradale R 1100 engine is used exclusively in this model, delivering a level of performance reserved for the most elite machines. It weighs 3.6kg (8lb) less than the standard 1,103cc engine found in the Ducati Panigale V4, and achieves this through an ultra-light crank train and use of titanium components.

A longer 53.5mm stroke, paired with a dedicated crankshaft and titanium connecting rods, enhances displacement and performance. Lightweight two-ring pistons and a reduced crank train mass (down by 1.6kg) significantly cut rotational inertia, resulting in razor-sharp responsiveness and explosive acceleration. And the racing-derived cylinder heads complete a package built to dominate both road and track.

Race-bred performance, uncompromised

The Ducati Racing Gearbox redefines shifting precision. With neutral positioned below first gear, riders benefit from enhanced engine braking when entering corners, and enjoy faster, smoother and more consistent gear changes between first and second – exactly where it matters most on the track.

Aerodynamics inspired by champions

Every surface of the Superleggera V4 Centenario is shaped by racing DNA. Drawing directly from Ducati Corse experience, the aerodynamic package mirrors that used in the 2026 WorldSBK Championship.

High-efficiency wings and sculpted sidepods generate downforce even at lean, maximising stability, braking performance and cornering precision at extreme speeds. All wrapped in ultra-lightweight carbon fibre bodywork.

A carbon fibre revolution

Lightness is taken to extraordinary levels. A fully carbon fibre swingarm, inspired by the DesmosediciGP, delivers optimal stiffness with minimal weight. Carbon fibre wheels further reduce rotational mass, while billet aluminium footrest plates enhance control and rider connection.

The braking performance is equally revolutionary. Developed with Brembo, this is the first carbon-ceramic brake disc system designed for a road-going sport bike. Borrowing technology from hypercars, the discs feature a carbon fibre-reinforced ceramic core for exceptional heat resistance and fade-free braking paired with MotoGP-derived floating systems for ultimate precision.

Precision handling, perfected

An advanced suspension system by Öhlins takes control to new levels. Featuring carbon fibre outer tubes, MotoGP-derived hydraulic valves and refined spring geometry, it delivers exceptional responsiveness and superior bump absorption – keeping the rider fully connected to the road.

Technology that puts you in control

The Superleggera V4 Centenario is packed with cutting-edge rider aids, including:

  • Dynamic engine brake control for pro-level deceleration
  • Cornering ABS and race brake control
  • Ducati traction, wheelie and slide control
  • Power launch and quick shift systems

A dedicated Race GP display mode offers maximum visibility with a white background, lap timer with delta tracking and real-time performance data, including RPM, grip levels, tyre pressure and temperature.

Exclusivity in every detail

Two striking liveries define the Centenario:

  • GP26 Rosso Centenario – a bold, contemporary design inspired by the latest Desmosedici GP26, finished in a new matte Rosso Centenario with sharp white accents. Limited to just 500 units worldwide.
  • Superleggera V4 Centenario Tricolore – a celebration of heritage and modernity all while nodding towards the future, the Tricolore pays tribute to the legendary Ducati 750 F1. Its livery echoes the iconic #618 ridden by Marco Lucchinelli when he won the Battle of the Twins in 1986 in Daytona.

A complete racing experience

Every detail extends beyond the ride itself. The exclusive racing kit includes an open carbon fibre dry clutch, full racing exhaust system, neoprene racing seat and much more!

Additional extras also include a certificate of authenticity, dedicated paddock stands and a bespoke garage mat, ensuring the exhilarating Superleggera experience continues even when the bike is at rest.
