The Vindis difference

Here are seven additional measures we take to exceed the baseline Volkswagen requirements for our Approved Used vehicles.

Multipoint inspections: While multipoint inspections are mandated by Volkswagen and any identified issues are rectified before sale, at Vindis, these inspections are carried out only by Volkswagen-trained and Volkswagen-qualified technicians. No external inspectors or contractors are ever used.
MOT test standards: Volkswagen UK require Approved Used vehicles for sale, to have a current valid MOT test – at Vindis, any Volkswagen over 3 years old or with less than 6 months until the next MOT test receives a fresh test. This gives you a full year from the date of the inspection.
Brake standards: Brakes are measured by percentage of wear; anything over 70% worn is automatically replaced.
Vehicle presentation: Every vehicle receives brand-new Vindis Volkswagen number plates.
Serviceable item replacements: Vindis proactively replace any serviceable item due within 6 months or 6,000 miles, determined using Volkswagen's official system. This includes oil services, spark plugs, timing belt, fuel filter, wipers, brake fluid and much more.
Tyre standards: Volkswagen mandate that tyres must have at least 3mm of tread. All tyres fitted by Vindis are Volkswagen-approved.

Warranty: 12 month minimum warranty (or remaining manufacturer warranty) based on customer purchase. You also receive 12 months Roadside Assistance.
Servicing: An up-to-date service is carried out if it’s due within 6 months or 6,000 miles.
History checks: Provenance, vehicle mileage and service history checks.
Exchange policy: The right to exchange with a minimum term of 30 days from the date of handover.

Lenders of vehicle manufacturers may also provide preferential rates to us for the funding of our vehicle stock and also provide financial support for our training and marketing. But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement. Before we propose you to a potential lender, we will tell you of the likely amount of commission we will receive and seek your consent to receiving this commission. The exact amount of commission will be confirmed before you sign your finance agreement. All finance applications are subject to status, terms and conditions apply, UK residents only, 18s or over. Guarantees may be required.
