Infotainment Online

Reach every destination reliably, safely and comfortably with Škoda’s Infotainment Online services. Available for the Amundsen and Columbus Škoda infotainment systems. Service validity is renewed periodically.

Online Route Calculation

Travel the best route every time. Škoda’s incredible servers immediately calculate your route, assessing current traffic and weather conditions on the way. For quick and accurate navigation plus punctual, unhindered arrival times, look no further than this super function!

Online Voice-Control

Your wish is your Škoda’s command. With Laura, your voice command assistant, you can control navigation, media and text messages as you drive,letting you concentrate on the road ahead. 

Infotainment Apps

Weather, news and much more is available in Infotainment Apps; simply download from the Škoda Connect Shop that you can access via your infotainment system. Apps are regularly updated and added over time.  

Online Traffic Information

“You have arrived at your destination”…and you’re bang on time! Whether you encounter accidents, tailbacks or roadworks, your infotainment system has got you covered and provides you with all the info you need to make the decision that best suits you.

Petrol Stations

Want to check the best fuel prices in your area? Then the Petrol Stations function is perfect for you! Any time, any place, check the list of petrol stations, their location and prices through your infotainment system. Simply input them into the navigation or view garages selling your required fuel. 

Parking Spaces

Spending time looking for parking spaces isa thing of the past with Škoda Parking Spaces. Your infotainment system displays a detailed view of nearby car parks and includes info about opening hours, prices and free spaces. All of this just a click away. 

Weather 

Not even the ever-changing British weather can get in the way of you and your Škoda journeys. The infotainment system shows you the weather at your destination, your current location or anywhere else with current or multi-day forecasts, weather warnings and Meteoradar. Selected models that offer Weather also include sunrise and sunset information, for separate download in the Shop. 

News

Never be out of touch with the latest local and global updates with the News function. Use the Škoda Connect portal to add your preferred news channels and podcasts to your infotainment screen. Download the function separately in the Shop. 

Gracenote

Does that song sound familiar? “What’s the name of that band that always escapes my memory?” With Gracenote as part of your infotainment system, you’ll always have the answers close by. From song names to artist info, album titles to the cover itself, save the data to your onboard database. Exclusively available on the Columbus infotainment system. 

Online POI Search (voice)

Searching for the best bathing spots, hotels, restaurants? Find them all with just a simple voice command and while you’re on the move! See your results displayed in an easily readable and accessible list that also provides you with contact details, opening hours and navigation. Exclusively available on the Columbus infotainment system.

Online POI Search (text)

Locating those perfect viewpoints is just a text search away. Simply input your destination and your Škoda infotainment system will bring up a list of nearby results including address, contact, ratings and navigation information. POIs can be saved or grouped as custom-made lists. 

My Points of Interest

Transfer your own POI list to your car so that finding your favourite cafes and restaurants is never an issue. Create your list using the Škoda Connect portal on your computer or tablet from the comfort of your own home. 

Online Destination Import

Want to venture into the unknown?Find some new favourite spots and add them to your records? Then Online Destination Import allows you to do just that with a single click through the Škoda Connect portal or via the Škoda Connect app on your smartphone! Choose your destination by inputting an address, searching for the name or using GoogleMaps. And if you’ve got a full itinerary to get through, don’t worry – you can enter up to 100 destinations, choose your desired place and let Škoda get you there smoothly.

Online Route Import

Got a lengthy or complicated road trip that requires lots of stop-offs? With Škoda, it’s no problem! Get everything ready before you set off with the Škoda Connect portal. Pop in up to 10 stops through the Online Destination Import, and once you’re happy with your route, simply transfer it to your Škoda infotainment system. 

Online Map Update

For the most time-efficient journey, you don’t just need traffic informationbut updated maps covering your region that are also immediately available for download after release. What’s more, for those longer journeys you can secure the local data beforehand to be even more prepared.  

Google Earth

By activating this service, you can get photorealistic aerial shots of your local area to help you get around quicker andmore efficiently, and discover new places. Available on the Columbus infotainment system. 

Škoda Care Connect – Proactive Service

Škoda’s Proactive Service helps you deal with malfunctions or any other condition issues for your Škoda. Your car will automatically contact a service centre or call for assistancein the event of a minor accident. The service is compatible with most Škoda infotainment systems and can be standard or optional. 

Service Scheduling

Scratching your head trying to remember the last time you booked your car in for a service? With Škoda Service Scheduling, all your upcoming car maintenance dates are covered. Your Škoda will report any required servicing to the backend server, and the details are then sent onto your preferred service partner who will contact you to make an appointment.

Breakdown Call

Giving you total peace of mind while you travel is a top priority for Škoda. Even if you have a breakdown, help is just a button click away via the roof module – you’ll be connecteddirectly to a roadside assistance call centre. And that’s not all! The car also automatically sends information detailing its position and condition so that the important details are relayed to the operator to get the issue resolved in the best manner. 

Info Call

No matter where you are, if you have any questions about Škoda Connect services or your vehicle, all you need to do is press the roof module button to get through to the Customer Care Call Centre where operators are ready and waiting to help.

Vehicle Health Report

Like a regular bank statement, you can get a health report of your car sent you to regularly, keeping you informed and in control of your Škoda’s maintenance at all times. The reports can be accessed via the Škoda Connect app which details your car’s mileage, selected warning messages and service requirements.

Automatic Accident Notification 

There’s never a moment of worry when driving your Škoda. If you have a small accident, your car is ready to help, allowing you to contact the Roadside Assistance Call Centre via the infotainment system. It’lldetail the car’s condition and offer you advice as what the next step should be before you get back on the road. If your Škoda isn’t mobile, you can arrange to have it towed or for a rescue service to be sent out to assist you.

Online Remote Update

In selected models, Online Remote Update ensures that the infotainment communication is regularly updated. Fully automatic and ensures great security.

Škoda Care Connect – Remote Access

Take control of your new Škoda with Remote Access by linking up your car with your smartphone. Your phone can then control the car and receive status alerts. The service validity is renewed periodically. And as they’re compatible with most Škoda infotainment systems, you can fully enjoy the freedom that Škoda Care Connect services offer.

Lock and Unlock

We’ve all been there – halfway down the street when we have that horrible thought, “Did I lock the car?”Well worry no more! Using the Škoda Connect portal or app, you can quickly and easily check whether your car is locked, and lock or unlock your vehicle with just the tap of a finger!

Online Anti-Theft Alarm

You have all the control even when you’re away from your vehicle. Receive alerts via your email, smartphone or smartwatch if your anti-theft alarm is activated, plus the time and the reason for it so you’re prepared for taking the necessary action.  

Area Notification 

This function prevents any improper use of your Škoda model, tracking whether the car has left the area you’ve assigned or entered a prohibited area. In any of these events, you’ll receive an alert through your smartphone, smartwatch or email. The Škoda Connect portal or app can have 10 different areas set up and active periods when the car is to be monitored. 

Speed Notification 

Monitor how your car is being used and set a one-off or recurring alert if your Škoda goes faster than the selected speed. Speed excess will trigger an alert on your smartphone, smartwatch or email. Access, set and a manage the speed limit status at any time through the Škoda Connect portal or app. 

Driving Data

Want the journey information lowdown? Want to be better informed of your petrol consumption? Or just looking for a summary of your previous trips? Then Škoda’s Driving Data function allows you to do just that! From fuel consumption to average speed or even distance travelled, access all the information you need through the Škoda Connect portal or app.

Vehicle Status

Checking on your vehicle, any time, any place, has never been easier than with the Vehicle Status function. Whether you’reat home or have had to park halfway across town, you can use your computer, smartphone or smartwatch to check in on your Škoda’s current status. You can immediately check the remaining range, AdBlue level, whether your car is locked, lights are on or off and if all windows are shut.

Parking Position

Travelling somewhere less familiar and needing to park somewhere a bit more unconventional? Parking Position lays any worries to rest. Your Škoda will transmitits position data once after every trip. and you can find your parked vehicle at any time using its GPS position. 

Honk and Flash

Your car’s there…somewhere…in a sea of other vehicles. Not to worry! Just grab your smartphone and use the Honk and Flash function to activate your car’s horn and/or hazard lights remotely. This service works within 500 metres of your parked car, so you can go about your business with complete peace of mind. 

Škoda Emergency Call/eCall

Giving customers complete peace of mind as they travel is a top priority for Škoda. That’s why they’ve introduced the Emergency Call and eCall safety feature which comes as standard, or part of the Care Connect service package. What’s more, this package is free of charge for your Škoda’s lifetime.

It’sinstant assistanceat your hands. Emergency Call/eCall activates automatically if sensors report a major accident. But how does it work? The function establishes an audio and data connection to a special emergency call centre (eCalldials emergency services directly) and relays the important information. Once this is done, a voice call is established, and the customer is on the line with the operator until assistance arrives.

Škoda Service Scheduling

Service Scheduling is part of the Proactive Service – Care Connect Package. All you need to do is choose your preferred Authorised Repairer in Škoda Connect and your vehicle will let them know about any maintenance or repairs that are needed.

Warning lights

Škoda models that use Škoda Connect will send the information to your chosen Authorised Repairer before a service interval (maintenance, oil change) or when particular warning lights come on in your Škoda. Your Authorised Repairer will contact you through your preferred communication option.

Full warning lights descriptions can be found in the relevant car manuals.

Škoda Auto reserves the right to change the scope of warning lights without any prior notice.
