Vindis Audi at RAF Wyton Families Day – a day to remember
On 29 July the Vindis Audi team had the honour of attending the RAF Wyton Families Day – a truly memorable event celebrating community, innovation and those who serve.
As neighbours located just five minutes down the road, we were thrilled to be invited by the event’s organisers, who are passionate fans of the Audi brand, to showcase one of our stunning Audi e-tron models…so we brought along three, plus a diesel to highlight the versatility and breadth of the Audi range. Our local business development managers (LBDMs) were delighted to support the day and engage with the community.
The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement. Families enjoyed classic fairground games and the event was well attended by local police and ambulance crews, the East Anglia Air Ambulance team and, of course, the remarkable RAF personnel, plus many more – a truly fantastic crowd!
Being part of such a prestigious set-up was particularly special for us at Vindis: our founder, Frank Vindis, was a Czech Spitfire pilot in World War II so it felt only right for us to be on the runway on the day!
As if the day wasn’t action-packed enough, we even received a surprise visit from Deadpool! Off duty and in good spirits, he stopped by to admire the Audi GT, just in time to witness a Typhoon jet flypast!
And let’s not forget our furry VIP, pictured below! This cheerful pup gave an enthusiastic paw of approval to our e-tron line-up. We couldn’t ask for a better endorsement!
A huge thank you to RAF Wyton for inviting our Fleet team to such a fantastic event. It was a genuine pleasure to connect with the local community, share insights into the latest Audi technology and discuss the contrasts between our e-tron electric and diesel models. We loved handing out business cards, answering questions and simply being a part of such a prestigious occasion.
We look forward to more opportunities to support RAF Wyton and other local initiatives in the future.
