As What Car? puts it, “The Škoda Superb is a truly fabulous thing.” Why is this, you may ask? Well, the Superb is competitively priced, offers impressive levels of passenger space and comfort in both compartments and features a massive boot. It comes well-equipped as standard too, riding on minimum-size 17-inch alloy wheels, for example. Furthermore, with rear doors that open nice and wide, access is made simple – and it easily accommodates five full-size adults.
The aforementioned boot measures 625 litres – and with rear seats folded, cargo capacity increases to 1,760 litres, which is significantly more than is available with, say, the Ford Mondeo.
Standard-issue dual-zone climate control helps to promote a relaxed cabin environment, while DAB radio and audio-streaming-ready Bluetooth provide plenty of audio-entertainment options. Another standard inclusion is Apple/Android SmartLink, which allows you to safely access your phone via the car’s eight-inch touchscreen.
Talking of safety, the Superb comes with Euro NCAP’s full five-star crash-test approval and a host of standard-issue protective tech, such as Hill-hold Control and front and rear parking sensors.
